About the event

Anja is presenting at the H.E.L.P Conference sharing her experience of disability and chronic illness as a student, and the impact it had on her education.

RMHC Australia is proud to once again host the 2019 International Health / Educators / Learners / Parents (H.E.L.P.) Conference.

Every year, thousands of children are treated for serious illness. The impact of hospitalisation, medications and lengthy rehabilitation is often the tip of the iceberg for these families.

The theme for this year's conference is "Partners in Excellence", because it is vital that Health and Education professionals partner together to deliver expertise and support throughout the health and learning journey.

As professionals and parents - the experts and leaders from the fields of Health and Education, we are here to discuss the implications of chronic illness on children and consider practical strategies to help children and families. By focusing on the latest research and innovative health and education practices, we can help improve educational and psychological outcomes for children with serious illness.

We invite you to share your thoughts and knowledge in order to foster new ideas and understandings to help seriously ill children get back the future they have always deserved.

Together, we can bridge the gap between Health and Education to improve future outcomes for students with serious illnesses and their families.

You must register directly on the H.E.L.P Conference website
